Nentura Quarter Horses began in 2007, and is a new stud located on the South East coast of SA.
We aim to breed a smart, well conformed, even-tempered and versatile horse with potential to excel in many disciplines. Our mares carry proven working pedigrees, many with strong up-close cutting blood. We believe these lines produce the best brains, along with correct, strong and sound conformation. Their progeny are suitable for almost anything, ranging from a full day working cattle on the farm, to a leisurely trail ride, a weekend campdraft, show or pony club. We value the fact that all of our mares, and our stallion, have proven themselves as reliable mounts under saddle, working cattle and spending long days on the road droving.
The mares now graze excellent natural pastured paddocks of up to 50 acres, with great emphasis put upon mineral supplementation throughout pregnancy. Their foals are sure footed and well muscled, thanks to having the space to roam and develop naturally. They are handled from a very early age, and taught to be touched all over, yield and flex ,pick up their feet, lead alongside, load themselves up on the float, and tie up quietly. All of our horses are fullyvaccinated, wormed and registered by the time of sale.
If you are interested in any of our horses, please feel free to enquire about them.
We offer reasonable terms and payment plans upon negotiation, and also occasionally offer mares PTIF for lease, sale or swap. We realize our stud is a little off the beaten track, and therefore offer transport assistance, and are happy to take our horses to meet you or the horse transporters en route between Adelaide and Melbourne once fully paid for. This can save you upto $200!
Don’t forget to check back regularly, we are constantly updating info and pics.
